Inverter generators are powered by gasoline engines, which convert DC power to stable and clean AC power. From our reviews, we noted that most inverters have a 4-stroke overhead valve engine (OHV) engine.
The strength/volume of your engine will be measured in cubic centimeters (cc). Some of the high-performance engines, which produce the highest number of watts are above 200cc. Low-to-mid-range engines produce up to 100cc of power.
It’s worth noting, however, that most high-performance engines increase the overall weight of your inverter generator.
